I picked up the Advance 550 and i think it is a VERY nice power station with a lot of nice features, so far so good.
This is an easy 5 Star item and should be with you on any camping/fishing/travel since you never know what you might need,the flashlight is bright and the bonus light bar built into the handle was a nice surprise and can light up a tent if needed (or the backseat/trunk of your car).
The controls are simple and easy to use, all connecting cables for input or output are included and nothing is fragile or cheap.
I like this unit because it is not heavy and it going to be very useful when we start to see more unsettled weather events. I am happy that I have a reliable generator to keep my lights and cell phones working when that time comes.
We can charge the power station at home using a wall plug, USB port or even a car plug. We can also use our solar panel.
There is a handy display that gives readouts on the amount of charge that the station has. Also, a safety feature to stop over charging. We even plugged in a lamp and desktop fan to test so save our camper battery while camping. The handle makes it easy to carry. It is not overly heavy either so its portable even enough even for my elderly parents to use.
My wife and I often go camping in the car. We also carry many electronic devices, including mobile phones, rechargeable batteries, laptops and our tire inflators. To keep all these devices running, we use the Togo power a550 because it has a large capacity and can be charged or topped up from the vehicle's cigarette lighter port while driving. When you have electricity, it can also be charged from the socket. We often have power cuts here. It really helps us a lot.
